This site provides general educational information to help you study for the civics part of the U.S. naturalization interview. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your own immigration case or eligibility, talk to a licensed immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Not affiliated with the government

This is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or any other government agency.

Accuracy

We work to keep the content accurate, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, correct or current. Some answers change over time, such as the names of current officials, and test rules can change. Check the official USCIS materials before your interview.

The practice quiz checks your answers automatically. It may mark a right answer wrong or a wrong answer right. A good result in the practice quiz does not guarantee that you will pass the civics test.

The story text, page design and quiz software on this site are protected by copyright. You may read and use the site for your own personal study. You may not copy, republish, sell, frame, scrape or download the site's content or code by automated means, or use it to train software, without our written permission. The official civics test questions and answers are published by the U.S. government; we do not claim them.
